‘F1: The Movie’ trailer: Brad Pitt drives fast in Formula 1 film
Brad Pitt plays a veteran driver recruited for a Formula 1 race team and Damson Idris is the hotshot racer in “F1: The Movie.”
A Los Angeles home apparently belonging to Brad Pitt was burglarized June 25.
Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson on June 27 confirmed “Northeast Area officers responded to” a home in the Los Feliz neighborhood around 10:30 p.m. June 25.
“Three suspects broke into the residence via the front window then fled the location with miscellaneous property,” according to Officer Cervantes. “No one was home at the time of the burglary.”
Pitt reportedly bought a home on the specified block in 2023, according to Domus magazine and Traded.
The 61-year-old Oscar winner has been traveling the world promoting his new film “F1” alongside Damson Idris, Javier Bardem and Kerry Condon. He was at a press event in Tokyo on June 25.
When reached by USA TODAY on June 27, a spokesperson for Pitt declined to comment.
Similar home burglaries at celebrity homes have previously impacted Hilary Duff, Hollywood legends Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell and Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.
Pitt is currently making global pit stops on a promotional press tour for his new formula one racing film, “F1.”
The star recently told USA TODAY that if he was “five or 10 years younger,” he would have considered racing professionally, “but I learned enough doing this movie to also know that to really learn race craft, you’d need to spend a few years dedicated just to (racing).” He added that he has “more (movie) stories to tell.”
He also recently reunited with ex-costar Tom Cruise, who made an appearance at the “F1” film premiere in London. The “Top Gun: Maverick” actor took to Instagram to compliment his former “Interview with the Vampire” costar Pitt.
“Great night at the movies with my friends!! You guys crushed it!!” Cruise captioned his Instagram post Monday, June 23. On the red carpet of the formula racing film, the duo stopped to shake hands and hug.
The first photo in the two-picture carousel featured Pitt and the next featured the pair with “F1” director Joseph Kosinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was one of the minds behind the second “Top Gun” film, “Maverick,” which premiered in 2022.
