The big question heading into Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals between the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves is Steph Curry’s status.

Curry left Game 1 with an injury as the Warriors managed to secure a 99-88 Game 1 victory. This was largely thanks to the outstanding performances of Jimmy Butler and Buddy Hield. Hield led the team in scoring with 24 points and eight rebounds, while Butler had 20 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists.

The Warriors announced Curry will be sidelined for at least the next three games of the series – Game 2 on Thursday, Game 3 on Saturday and Game 4 on Monday – after an MRI revealed a grade 1 hamstring strain. In the announcement, Golden State said that Curry would be re-evaluated in one week.
